SOLD - Zero for parts
« on: November 25, 2018, 02:16:43 AM »

I have a 2018 Zero DSR that is being parted out.  All electrics except head light, tail light, blinkers, and ABS were removed and used for an electric plane project.  This is what is left over and not needed.  I have the side covers and skid plate on my work bench.  All parts are "new".

The bike has 0.2 miles on it.  It was purchased and disassembled with in hours.  I rode it up and down the driveway twice and did one smokey burn out :)

Please make "reasonable" offers on any parts you want.

Cheers,
Jim

I'm located in NE MA only a mile away from NH.  Will do on the plane, but the motor and electrics are last and I have a way to go before that.

Plus I have a couple of BMW motorcycles that need to be ridden.

Cheers,
Jim

Wow! Poor bike. I'm sure the plane will be an amazing project, but I might have taken a used bike! Or maybe you already did for a prototype? If there is a problem with the electronics, will the Zero warranty it?  ;D

We needed the 14.4 for the power and battery size.  We did look around but did not find anything.  Hopefully we will never have to try the warranty thing, that is why I'm keeping the frame with the paper work.

I was going to try and put another drive line in it but I have a classic and a sport bike already.  The electric was fun but my S1000XR is WAY MORE FUN!  But i you never know in a couple of more years what will be available....

Anyone know if the 2018 DSR handlebar is the same or substantially similar to the 2015 FX's? If so, I'd be interested if I can get one cheap.

Yes, it should be a direct swap, if not geometrically identical.

What is left/has been taken so far? I'm interested in the rolling chassis in its entirety if you are looking to get rid of it. Feel free to PM

Have you been getting my PM’s? I just need the rear brake pedal if you still have it.
