Looking For a New E-BIke
« on: July 29, 2019, 03:14:09 PM »

Hey,
I'm looking to get a new e-bike. I need your guidance as to which models are well-regarded and which should be avoided, so happy to hear any reviews either way. Primarily, it's for city riding.

Right now, stormer is on top of my list. I'm a bit of a sucker for good looking bikes. So I gave stormer some extra credit. Plus stormer is a cool bike in every way. But I would love to check other options if you have any.

When it comes to stormer, I'm a bit confused about the colour. They got black, white and the green limited edition:

Which one looks better? From the pics, I think while looks really good.
But I don't know how it looks in real life. If anyone already owns stormer, please help.

Hi.  Welcome to the forum!

This is more of an electric motorcycle forum than bicycle.  While there may be people here who can answer your question, a specific electric bicycle forum may help more.

did a lot of research and we ended up getting a couple of Juiced Bikes RipCurrent's. 50% more power with a real world range of 60 miles with easy peddle. 20 miles on only elec. drive. About 1/4 of the price of what you're looking at. These are evolving at a crazy pace as is the manu's of them. IMHO I would not get into an expensive bike like that at this stage. It would be like buying a $60,000 elec. motorcycle right now. We went with 4" fat tires as we live close to lots of sand dunes and beaches to ride on as well as winter snow. Juiced also makes various styles.

These are super fun bikes!
