Oh, that’s good to hear, on all counts.

Okay, so the symptoms here are hard to work backwards from, and we want people to figure out this kind of problem more quickly in the future somehow.

I think maybe one aspect is when voltage fluctuates, there’s a reason it has a softness to it in that the circuit isn’t hooked up right, and that should point to (careful) continuity checks along the main lines.

Basic fuse presence is a good sanity check, but checking on blown fuses can be less clear.

I guess the real lesson is ensuring people know what they haven’t ruled out to check after they take measurements.
