What I am using from Samsung is their Galaxy Watch : you have a very simple application sending you the GPS direction directly on your watch. Exactly what you need on a motorbike - nothing to plug, no app to start : you just launch google maps and that's it.

Actually, the video mirrors sound pretty good to me. Mount the cameras in good locations and you might get a good look at something other than your own elbows.

I don't know how Wear watches work, but on Apple's iOS/WatchOS, I get directions from my watch by vibration signals. One buzz is a notification (mostly disabled for me), while left and right turn prompts via GPS wayfinding is "two long" or "four short", respectively. I like this because I can keep my eyes on the road most of the time and only have to glance down at my phone in a planned way when my risk is low.

Now, that seems like a really good idea. If only auto drivers would use the same system, instead of driving around with one hand holding a cell phone and the other hand adjusting the smart screen's GPS in the middle of their dash.
