Farasis website
« on: December 25, 2019, 04:28:45 PM »

I'm interested to get information about Farasis. However, their website is down now for quite a while.
Anyone any clue why that could be?
I think they are big enough to not let that happen accidentally for too long?
I also don't think they want to hide ... ???

Agreed, that is very odd, especially after having secured that Daimler contract in September:
https://www.reuters.com/article/us-autoshow-frankfurt-daimler-electric-d/daimler-to-source-battery-cells-from-farasis-energy-idUSKCN1VV29G

I had enough trouble with their site re-organization that pulled all the datasheets and made it harder to link to their products, but this is weird.

Daimler has big bucks and Germans do love secrecy. Perhaps they have asked Farsis to cut back on public access to their battery information?   ???

Some Farasis representative might be found here:
https://www.advancedautobat.com/Europe

If I understood more of the topic (atually I understand veeery little as I'm no engineer) and if I had enought time that certainly would interest me ...

I stumbled over this link, which works, despite the main site still not working ...

Nice catch. So it's a Wordpress site that's either been hacked, misconfigured, or very strangely configured.

I sent an email to the support@ alias, which might respond after this holiday period.

So - It's a while since my last try.

At the moment at least something pops up under http://www.farasis.com/

However (almost) no working links - or has anyone more luck than I do?

On mobile Safari it's literally an image of what a website splash might look like.

Yes, the contents are only a "funeng.jpg" file, linking to a chinese domain that has no server configured to respond.
