And for the non stock Zero SR  8):

Drag racing my modified Zero S 2012. weight total is 191 pounds and 85% max power availlable. I was racing against a GSX witch did 12.56s

0-60ft: 1.68s
0-330ft: 4.63s
1/8mile: 7.3 @ 87.4mph
1/4mile: 12.2@92mph

max power limit was set to 85% and gear was set for torque and not speed.

A Zero with wheelie bars - that caught me by surprise. If you can somehow increase your top-end speed you will have a real weapon there.

Yeah... The wheelie bar is needed as at as low as 50% motor current it want to wheelie!

I replaced the sproket ratio but never had a chance to test the new highwe speed gearing.

I expect 190km/h and sub 12s

I had been waiting to see the change with the taller gearing.
Was having a discussion earlier in the thread about putting it
onto my 2016 SR. 90 mph gained from a stop in 660 feet.
I am pretty certain that the ET will be higher and MPH probably
lower for 1/8 mile, but, still believe that it should be quicker
and faster in the 1/4, since you aren't dead heading for most of it.

Yes in fact with the 132T + 28T i had 7.3s on the 1/8 mile
Now with the 98T +30T i had 7.6s for the 1/8 mile witch only raised by 0.3s... but the E.T. still not tested with the higher speed gearing.

Wheelie bars still needed with taller gearing?
I know that won't be needed with SR at about double
the weight.

That's borderline.. I think i will still need it but if i could remove it i would!.. but fliping with the bike is not an option!

I finally got a chance to take my 2016 SR to the Drag Strip today
I made 5 quarter mile passes. 3 in sport, One in custom with everything maxed
and, one where I started in eco mode, backed off the throttle, switched to sport
1/8th mile time and MPH were similar to those listed by OP
8.311 @86.53, 8.309 @87.01, 8.308 @86.88 in Sport
8.288 @87.04 in custom. The SNAFU run was 11.006 @82.95
The Quarter Mile times were as follows
Sport 13.048@99.64, 13.009 @100.6613.024 @100.23
Custom 13.011 @99.38
Snafu 15.828 @99.11
Bike started out fully charged.
I would make two passes then charge up again
Ambient temperature Mid 60s
No wind
Motor temperature at start of run 80 degrees
Motor got up to just over 120 degrees at end of pass according to dash
Bike is equipped with the Zero Touring Screen
I have only been able to find a few times online none for a 2016.
Has anyone else had their pre 2017 down the drag strip?
Hopefully, next time with thinner air and more tire pressure
I will hit 12 seconds. Sad that with a garage full of 9 and 10 second motorcycles,
I am shooting for 12s
Even my 6 cylinder Buick Spanks My SR
I have never felt the exhilaration of power and acceleration that everyone raves about
I always figured that I had been spoiled by always having extremely fast gas bikes.
Hopefully, that is the case. I would hate to think that there is something off with my SR
