I have towed boats all over the country and know the heartache that comes with cheap trailers and tires. I have used the U-Haul rental MC trailer with a pickup truck but that's too big for your Civic I think.

I recently bought a Kendon single bike folding trailer. It is compact, easy to use, and incredibly well constructed. It comes with real trailer tires rated for highway speed. Most discount trailers don't. Best of all it folds in half exposing rollers on the bottom so it can be stowed easily in your garage, taking up very little space. Kendon trailers are expensive but all I had to do was read reviews and horror stories for the discount trailers to know that's not what I wanted. My wife's Subaru Forester tows it and my 500 pound Speed Triple like it's not even there.
