I bet they have no problem getting this patent application approved.   ::)

One of the auto shows had an electric (prototype) dune buggy that could deploy an electric jet ski so they are stealing that idea.
I could see disabled persons using it with a powered wheel chair or scooter.
I would say the other niche is pure city dwellers.  Park the van at the outskirts of the city where parking is cheaper and available and shoot into town on your moto whatever.

I thought that was what they made car trunks for - to carry electric scooters.  I don't think you need to carry around a motorcycle in your engine compartment and use it as a bumper. Besides, Ford just announced that they would be discontinuing all of their sedans, except for the Mustang and the Focus compact, and would be building only on large trucks and SUV's, that could easily carry a motorcycle in the luggage area. Making America great again - one large gas-guzzler at a time.  ::)

I think they are just covering their patent butts with "motorcycle" to cover anything that goes.

Richard I'm not saying I want one or it's a winning idea but London and Paris will be off limits to gas cars in the near future so  out of town commuters will have to figure something out and Ford is trying to beat them to a better idea I guess.

I don't really get everyone's love of SUVs myself but sales show people love them.
Someone will have to disregard their engineering degree and make a non aero high riding electric SUV that soccer moms will want.
