Rear hand brake
« on: April 29, 2018, 11:14:02 PM »

Hello I wanted to share my rear hand brake setup.

It has a great feeling and I can activate the ABS with one finger.

I used a clutch master cylinder DOT4 compatible from AJP (reference 650.00.302) with a 9.5 mm piston.
I simply disconnected the foot master cylinder from the ABS block and connected the hand master cylinder instead.
To make the bleeding easier I injected brake fluid from the caliper with a big syring up to the master cylinder.
In wanted to reuse the pressure sensor that is mounted on the foot master cylinder (built in the banjo screw) but the thread is M10x1.25 mm and I have M10x1 mm on both my hand master cylinder and the original J.Juan rear caliper.
This sensor is used to activate the rear light when braking.
