Quiq onboard?
« on: November 02, 2017, 12:08:34 AM »

Found this picture posted way way back by eyeinsky. Looks like the Quiq was the stock onboard charger on the old XU. Maybe they should have stuck with that. Maybe I can mount my Quiq on my FX? Hmmm...

Yes, the QuiQ was the standard onboard charger back "in the day""
I have a QuiQ and and Elcon that I carry. Either or both depending upon what I plan on doing that day.
I have had issues with my SR onboard charger. Has been replaced 4 times. I now carry the Elcon in
a box that I picked up at Lowe's for $15. Bungies to the back rack in a few seconds, about a minute
to unpack and connect. This way, if I don't plan on charging while out and about, I don't need to carry
the extra weight. Going to find a similar box for the QuiQ. Have to add a rack for the FXs so that I can
do the same.
