This article is more informative. Only 4 KW? That's about 5 HP. I think every hydrogen fuel cell vehicle I've seen has a sizeable battery . I think it's ecause fuel cells either don't make enough power or can't be throttled adequately so the battery is necessary as a buffer.

There's no way a non-fleet sale of one of these bikes will happen in the next five years.

I really like the Suzuki 650 family of bikes but their hydrogen fuel cell strategy does not seem like a winner.
