It is nice to see this sort of educational progress being made in the forum.

Just to clarify about the warranty stuff from the earlier posts, I myself have done a lot of research and testing into the battery damage stuff. If your charger doesn't integrate with the BMS, and/or you don't write the algorithem to consider the specific use case from scratch, it is highly likely you will have trouble with Zero

Took me months and months of talking, convincing and detailed explinations to make sure the digiNow units were accepted. We even went crazy overboard on the v2.5 to be safer than Zeros own algorithems at the moment. Just so we know we are in the clear and things are safe for not just the customer and digiNow, but for Zero too.

The last thing anyone wants to see is a thermal event from a DIY charger, but if you do have one and it is from this DIY stuff, just don't blame Zero. I wish you the best in whatever choice you make and hope you enjoy whatever you choose!
