I think it would work with a stock/ naked Zero.  Vetter says that a motorcycle and rider is a combination of a brick and a parachute in the air.  The brick is the poorly streamlined rear and tail and the parachute is the scoops, the riders arms and chest, and the area behind the rear wheel.  Behind the rear of a Zero is a blocky battery and the tank fenders are really scoops.  If you can deflect the air around the blocks and parachute shapes, then this will help. 

I do think the the ryno is rather ugly.  I would be interested in a fender that does the same thing, but is more flush and works with the suspension and steering.

Try it Shayan!  I'd love to see the results.  I bet Killroy is right.

Absolutely, I think Killroy is right too. I do not have a Zero (own a Empulse TT). But at the end of the day its the same problem with the aerodynamics of these bikes. This add on would certainly clean up the airflow around and behind the battery area. Per the website the top speed was up by a 4-5 mph for the Hayabusa? So i bet it would be better for an unfaired bike.
Conceptually it looks good (if not in terms of aesthetics). And for its 50$ price tag, it is not a bad option to experiment with.

What i'm not sure of though is whether i have to replace the entire front fender. I believe they have the element which can be added on to existing fenders. Not sure how though!

Visiting their website, I'm unclear how to get in touch with them. They write:

but don't give an email address. The most recent replies to their blog are dated 2014.

Am wondering if they're still in business.

OK, I'll post a reply on their blog and see what happens. I'm willing to
pay $200 for an experiment for my 2016 SR.
