If there are people from northern Virgina that would like to join in we can set a time on this loop to meet you in downtown. I don't mind riding a loop and a half if it means more folks and may meet up and join in. The best location to meet up would likely be in Georgetown under the freeway (3000 K St NW, Washington, District of Columbia 20007) as it has a charging station (it seems popular) 2 Wall Outlet (120v)s, 4 EV Plug (J1772)s at the Washington Harbor Shopping Plaza. There's a sandwich shop and a starbucks if that's your thing.
Below is a link to the proposed route mapped at just under 50, I would plan on riding 55 miles in total. Most riding will be low speed, from 25 through 45. There is one short section on Whitehurst freeway, however its only 1 mile long. If folks from Virginia are meeting us, we would end up skipping the high speed portion and riding through the underbelly of Georgetown to meet up (

My plan for a week day ride would be to meet around 10 am and be finished by 2 pm. The loop is roughly a 2.5 hour loop, however with red lights it can stretch. Its also usually nice to stop near the mall and grab a bite to eat.
A weekend ride means limited beach drive action due to park closures for pedestrian use of the roadways. In that case the distance is likely 10 miles less and I would recommend traveling in Mac Arthur, and taking Connecticut back out to Rockville.

http://www.msf-usa.org/downloads/Group_Ride.pdf Don't worry about the hand signals, I doubt we'll have a large cadre on this one so no need get too specific.
