replacement parts
« on: June 03, 2016, 12:48:42 AM »

Does anyone have a source for pre-Victory Empulse R parts?  My local dealer has been useless for getting parts for my 2013 R, pretty much they come back every week I check with them saying...we're still working with Polaris/Victory on getting the parts in the system.

I specifically need the shift linkage and transmission shifter input shaft assembly.

I was actually just looking at that.  Its going on 3 months of the dealer saying its Victory/Polaris's "internal" issue.

I am guessing that that doesn't make you feel any better.   :(

Yes,and so do I.I have a broken speedsensor.Should be a warranty-issue.
Everything for the whole of Europe is going through Brammo Germany,is what my dealer says.
Also the webshop of Victory says that the part is "currently unavailable"....

Oh,the bike still rides, but is not messuring speed or distance..... :o

Yes,got it !! On the 13th of July I got the message from my dealer, that the speedsensor had arrived. The day after that I picked it up.Now my Brammo is back to normal again......Yes !! Speedo and distance-counter works again.
Note:The speedsensor is a "Hall-sensor" and works with a ring-magnet.Around that magnet are two coils, with a combined minus.Thats why it has three threats. The bolts of the rear breakingdisc are disturbing the magnetic field, and create a variation in the electrical signal.Actualy, two signals.
With a broken magnet, the magnetic field is unknown, and gives an unknown signal. It results in a systemfault H52.

My dealer said he'd ordered the sensor directly from the Polaris-group,and they are setting up a distribution-centre.It will take a while before Brammo-parts (Enertia/Empulse-parts as you like) are implemented in the system.
Don't dump your bike,keep on riding.... 8)
