Tracking total miles on electric motorcycles
« on: November 11, 2012, 01:37:36 AM »

It would be cool if there was a place on this website where we could track how many miles we have ridden on our electric motorcycles.  Having a chart that shows the riders with the most miles and the total miles for each model of motorcycle would be fun information to have.

Some friends of mine drive the BMW Active-E and they have a friendly competition between the East Coast drivers and West Coast drivers.  Can someone set this up?

On the V is for Voltage forum there is a nice mileage thread for the Vectrix

 http://visforvoltage.org/forum/9713-how-many-vectrix-reached-30000km

Mine is on 33350 kilometers (little over 20.000 miles) So you have some catching up to do  :)

I actually rode 5,004 miles on a Vectrix, but unfortunately my garage flooded and totaled the bike.  However, this past year I consoled myself by getting a 2012 Zero-S.  ;-)

Glad to read that you have put so many electric miles on the road!

Here is a google doc I created to track total electric motorcycle miles.  A few people have entered information about their Zero Motorcycles.  Any updates to existing info or entries by Brammo (or other) riders is welcome!

I've been logging mileage regularly and catching up fast, can't help but notice not very many 2016 entries...

Updated mine...I'm number two in the States! Although Ben's probably passed me or will by this evening.

It's interesting to note that it seems people put on lots of miles when their bikes are new, then it tapers to a constant level. People are digging their new toys!
