I bought a set of these extenders for my 2016 SR:

They looked pretty good: clean, black machines lines.

Sadly despite what I read, my SR's mirrors are *not* 8mm threaded, they look more like 10mm.

So I'll have to order some more. Sigh.

Oh, and now I need to work out if I need extenders that are different on the left than the right.

Just installed the Arrows, with adaptors, pricy but well made.
About half the size of stockers, but NO blind spots, you can see the tail.
For you splitters, they fold down, actually making the biker narrower.

I bought 10mm threaded mirror extenders from Amazon. The threading on the extender is all screwed up (ha) and it's impossible to thread the mirror into them. I wasn't prepared to twist it hard enough to re-cut the thread as it would probably totally bugger up the mirror's own threading. Another $14 wasted.

Sorry to hear that. You may want to put some corrosion inhibitor in there now to keep the worn threads from corroding.

Was the pitch 1.25 or 1? I've heard that it should be 1.25 and want to confirm for documentation.

I've had good success getting "Yamaha" type mirrors. Like Honda on the right, reverse threaded on the left.
