looks like they're only going to make 50 of these

glad they announced this in June and not last December or all 50 would have been gone by the end of the day.  I feel lots of people already bought a 2016 DSR.  Although likely some diehards perhaps will trade in or trade up to own a piece of Zero's history that one day will be a collector item as when the company was just getting started.  Or perhaps some with a 2013, 2014, or 2015 DS will make this the reason to upgrade to the bigger battery with more range and faster charging.

Add a large top box (bigger than the one Zero sells) and this thing is ready to hit the road!  Needs a phone mount and phone charger is pretty much it.

Curious to see how long it takes for them to announce they are all sold

Note that all 50 will be labeled "1 of 50", i.e they are not serialized "1, 2, 3..."
