Very nice videos and very helpful to new people thinking about getting on a Zero.  I have one question and one observation from the ones I have watched.  I saw your friend had a KLR 650 which you rode for a while at least.  Now you and I are in the same boat in that basically all my bike miles have been on my 2013 DS but I was looking at a DR650 when I bought the Zero.  How did you feel about the way the KLR rode?  You said you didn't care for the ride height which I didn't like either but they wouldn't let me ride the 650 at the dealership so how was the power and speed (not that yall were racing)?  I saw you went on some dirt roads and up some high hills/mountains but you got 126 miles which was what the 2013 was rated at.  The most I ever got was 98 miles when I first started riding and 40MPH was about as fast as was comfortable with.  I would like to see what your real world 70MPH range is.  Zero's specs show it  at 70 miles and mine at 61.  I just thought the new batteries and motor would get a bit more range than the older ones but that is kind of a small increase.  Thanks for making the videos, keep it up.

Please be aware that I am a bit biased to my bike, and I did not utilize the full power potential of the KLR. That being said, I did not feel the KLR had enough power to keep up with the DSR in sport mode. I feel I would be left wanting more on the asphalt. I did not ride the KLR off road but I imagine the gearing and low end grunt would be more than enough to have fun with it off-road. The KLR felt much more up-right and felt like it rode really high and "straight up and down." for lack of a better way to describe it.

That might give you a better comparison. Also my boss has a BMW F 800 GS. Our acceleration is relatively comparable.

Sorry I missed this one in an earlier reply. I don't have a video for this one, yet. However I did make a trip that totaled 68.2 miles one way. My average speed was between 60-65 mph for about 95% of the trip. When I arrived at my destination I still had 11% battery on my arrival for the initial leg of my journey. After charging to 100% I took the same route home. I had 10% when I returned home. I think the variation is not enough to speak of, but perhaps the difference in ambient temperatures may have played a role in using more battery capacity. I rode home pretty late at night in really cool air. Probably something in the low 40 degree fahrenheit range.
