Hello readers! I have a new-to-me 2014 SR.

My dealer in in Longwood, Florida, and it seems they are VERY new to the Zero experience. They can sell them, but apparently the service department doesn't know about firmware updates.

They performed a 'courtesy service' for me when I brought the bike for them for which I paid $212. They did the 10k service and i had to specifically ask for a firmware update, which they weren't aware they should do.

Bad timing, a few days later a new update comes out, so I called today to have the firmware update done again, and they said it's $87.

I called Zero, they said NO they should be filling out claims to have Zero pay them for the tech's time; the firmware updates are good for the life of the bike.

Don't pay for firmware updates!!!

Yep, we know that but thanks for posting. Obviously the dealer doesn't have a clue what they're doing...
