Wtb 2013+ S or DS
« on: October 08, 2015, 01:38:34 AM »

I'm in Austin, but open to shipping from elsewhere. Have cash for a fair price on a fair bike. Will account for options.  Local dealer is looking for 1 of those left over 2024 fleet bikes for me now, but thought I'd take a shot here. (Dealer had a 2013 for 6999 asking price.. Apparently had it for sale for a long while, but I just heard of it recently)

That 2013 S the dealer in Austin had was my bike. It was in perfect condition. I think he had it about 3 weeks before it sold, so it wasn't a long time. He seems to go through used bikes quickly. I know he's sold about 10 of my bikes pretty quickly....some in a day or two. I did post on the forum as soon as I traded the bike in.

That was also the cheapest I've seen any 2013 sell for..... Someone got a killer bike for a killer price....

I replied to you on another post but I also saw a 2013 in NC with 10 miles for $11995.  My guess is they would take LESS.  But believe me you want the warranty.  I love my 2013 DS but it was built early in 2013 and has had some issues that luckily Zero covered or else would have been a bit pricey.  You may want to wait on the 2016 launch next week.  You may want the latest and greatest based on what they come up with.  Worst case is older bikes go down a bit more in price.  I really think the 2015s took a solid step up and should hold their value a bit longer.

I emailed that one in NC, but honestly.. There's a local 2015 (demo .~200miles for 11,500. It gets back up to 13,500 with taxes and dealer fees though.
I've always just had cheap bikes.. So 7k is what I've got myself talked into for now.
