I am selling a 2012 Zero XU motorcycle.

This bike is almost useless except if your in the market for a new 2014 Zero S, DS or SR.
The manufacturer Zero Motorcycles currently offering 3500$ trade in value for this bike, regardless of condition.

I am selling this bike for 2500$ cash.

I live near Irvine CA 92612

this trade in deal won't last long for 2014 Zeros so please PM me for more information if your interested.

When the bike is working its a great ride, but I have had the bike for over year now and Ive probably only enjoyed it for about three months out of the year. It had a motor issue that got  replaced under warranty but it took six months for Zero to complete the work. Now the bike is having issues with the controllers software.
To make matters more annoying the dealership closest to me is no longer excepting Zero bikes because they're having issues with zero corporate. So it's a real hassle to get the bike worked on.
Bottom line is I'm over Zero and I'm over this bike.

Hey Sam,
Did you talk to Zero USA head office about your issues? or are you only going through your dealer?

I was offered nothing from a Zero dealer here in Australia, for my dead DS 2010 model as a trade in when I first asked, but Zero USA and Zero Australia, ended up offering me a generous trade in on a new DS 14.  Sometime you need to try and go up the chain of command but be nice if you want them to help you!

In the end Zero dealt very fairly with me, I did have to give them time to think about it and talked to a number of people though.  Their focus has shifted away from the early bikes now.

I am impressed now and grateful that they did come to the rescue in the end.  Well done Zero.

Good luck with it.  Don't give up on the Zero without trying though, they can actually be extremely understanding and helpful, when you talk to the right people and give them some time to work out a solution that they can offer  you.

Cheers,
Cam
