"zero is way past the point of being "small" "
Dunno, Zero still seems fairly tiny, and still scaling up, while Lexus is a major car manufacturer owned by Toyota, with much much FAR more money to have be able to run a surplus. It seems a little bit unfair to compare one of the smaller motorbike manufacturers in the world with one of the worlds largest car companies. ;)

A recent article mentioned that Zero makes as many bikes in one year as Harley makes in two days.

15000x     (200x12).      Is 36 million.  That's more funding than they have received over the last 2 years.... That's more than enough money to stock the shelves with a 20$ belt....

Yes they arnt as big as Lexus but 36 million per year isn't small....

You can order from toro or stihl dealer and get parts waaaay faster than a belt from zero through a dealer, 2 weeks for something that is ALWAYS in stock is a long time, if you can't admit that then I'm sorry I even commented in here.

I can totally get that you are pissed that you are waiting two weeks for a belt, I would be too, and I would be dragging my dealer over the coals for fucking something like that up (and I'd be investigating aftermarket belts at the same time)

I'd be asking awkward questions to your dealer as to why they are not stocking basic consumables such as belts, instead of relying on the manufacturers to send out such minor parts on spec.

I'm not waiting on a belt,   I have a couple extra but man.   If I couldn't get a belt in less than 2 weeks of sell my bikes fuck that

Fair enough.
Average time for parts for me from Zero is 1-2 weeks for major parts. That's pretty normal for manufacturers (except Kawasaki who were actually INCAPABLE of selling a replacement radiator for my ER5 and I had to bodge in a Suzuki rad) in my experience, so I'm happy.
