BMS broke Who can Help
« on: August 07, 2019, 10:54:05 PM »

I have a Zero Xu model 2011 (with flat pouch cells). Yes it is old and I am driving it since day 1.
Though it's limited performance I have been very happy with it.

But:
I have busted my bms in building up the battery again with new cells. (There is no 5 volt signal according to the logs).
Strangely enough it charges perfectly and balances perfectly as well.

Is there someone who can repair my bms??
Is there someone who has the scheme of the bms ??
Is there someone who has an old battery or bms laying around ?

Happy to hear. If you need fotoos I can send them

I thought the pouch cells came out in 2012...

What exactly is your BMS doing?  Is there pack voltage at the anderson connector coming out of the battery?

I have a 2011 running without the mbb so it might be possible to bypass the bms as well but I'm not sure of all the functions it performs etc

Sorry for my slow reaction.

I think as well it would be a solution to bypass the mbb. But i dont know how.
How did you do it ??

It is crazy but the bms does everything right. It charges and balances. But because of the missing 5 volt signal it won't give a green light signal so it can be accepted by Mbb.
