My first ebike sighting on my London commute!
« on: March 14, 2015, 04:12:41 AM »

Well at long last I've seen a mass produced two wheeled EV on British roads. It happened to be a BMW C Evolution scooter, which I probably wouldn't have known about if it wasn't for this forum.

I managed to pull alongside the rider and we managed a brief conversation that spanned a few sets of traffic lights. One if my first questions was whether he follows this forum. He'd never heard of it but said he would look us up. He said that BMW has a good PCP deal on which he went for. I'm looking at BMW's website at the moment but am struggling to find any pricing Info...

I hope you get to read this, my fellow commuter. I'm sure we're all interested to hear about your experience with the bike. I'd love to know which dealership you bought it from.

Yes absolutely agree.  Maybe we could even get enough of us 'wacky Brits' together for our own forum one day.  Promise no punch ups and no-one called Jeremy Clarkson allowed...

Maybe as we grow in size we could ask nicely to have regional forums here. Useful for planning meets and the like.

That would be the idea.
