Nuviz HUD at AIMExpo
« on: November 05, 2014, 04:07:51 AM »

I just saw the HUD display thread. I didn't want to necro-post but I did want to mention I saw the Nuviz at AIMExpo here in Orlando last month. They had a demo unit mounted on the flip-down part of a modular helmet. I was really impressed at how clear and useful it was.

Also, I wear really long-focus driving glasses (where I can barely see my instruments) and they worked fine w/o any adjustments. This surprised the design engineer that happened to be there, as he never considered someone to use glasses like that.

(I wear another pair for walking around and using the computer. You don't want to use bifocals on a bike, unless you want to be really good friends with your chiropractor)

I really hope these guys make it to market.
