I guess it makes sense to target one demographic at a time; dirt bike riders, on-off road riders, local street-bike commuters... like Tesla initially targeting the two-seater sports car market, then the luxury sedan folks, then the luxury crossover market... and next, next year - maybe finally us middle class folks.

i don't doubt that the new 2015 Zeros are awesome machines - I just got my hopes up too high ;)  I bought my 2012 ZF9 in Jan 2012  - and when the 2013 came out with the option of CHAdeMO charging - I was blown away by the advancement in technology that occurred in just one year. Yes, I know that it didn't turn out well in the end, but what I didn't expect was that they would abandon that avenue of progress, rather I'd hoped they'd refine and perfect it.

Meanwhile - my 2012 odometer turned over 10,000 miles today - I rode 50 miles to work at speeds of 60+ MPH, arrived with one flashing bar left on the fuel gauge, plugged in while at work and did the same thing on the way home.

Back to the topic of this thread... I'll be checking out the new bikes as soon as I can. The closest dealer to me is Mission Motors in Daly City, CA. As soon as they have the new bikes in their showroom I'll be there :)
