Towing / Racking a 2013 Zero S motorcycle
« on: June 12, 2014, 01:38:45 PM »

I am seeking to increase my range by towing or trailering my Zero S and then enjoying riding in areas where I could not previously reach due to range and charging times.

I am considering either a rack or a trailer.

Rack:

Trailer:

Someday I may have both though today I am leaning toward the rack.

My concern is with towing or racking that not having a gearing option which locks the travel of the motorcycle when it is not powered may become a safety issue. Does anyone have any experience or comment regarding this topic?

Regards,

SK

Make sure you run a ratchet strap around the rim part of the wheel between the spokes to secure it to the trailer frame. Then the bike cannot move. Something that should be done with any motorcycle transport.
