I can only speak for the 2012 Version of the Delta-q but I believe technology is the same.
It is current limited therefore the voltage will be automatically rise with the battery voltage. If it reach the end-voltage the Delta-q reduce the current.
As much as I saw the Delta-q was never disabled it runs his hibernation algorithm -

A Delta-q has an enable port (2012 for sure) that allows the BMS to shut off the Qelta-q.
e.g. if the cells are out of balance it could happen the "current-reduce-value -> Voltage" is not reached but one cell reach the endvoltage and would start a thermal runaway
