I don't know what other bikers do, but on all my bikes I always end up with one or both mirrors getting loose. My Zero has 1600 km and the left mirror gets down after a few bumps. Any solution other than glue?

My left mirror did the same thing not long after I bought my bike.  I tried glue, but that didn't work.  The problem is the bolt that Zero uses to hold the mirror in place.  It just does not exert enough force on the split section of the mirror stalks to keep the mirror stalk from rotating when you hit a big bump.  What I finally did was to find another bolt in my motorcycle recycled bolt collection and replaced the stock bolt with that one.  I tightened it hard and it hasn't moved since. 

My recommendation is to remove the bolt and head for your local hardware store to see if you can find a replacement.  I believe it is a metric bolt.  If your hardware store doesn't have something that looks like it will work, try a motorcycle shop.  The parts department can probably look through their bolt collection and will find something that is of similar length and thread diameter.  Just make sure that the bolt head is no larger in diameter than the stock bolt.  A little smaller would be better.  After installing the new bolt, I painted it black so that the new bolt would not be so obviously different than the bolt on the right mirror - which seems to work just fine.

You should have gotten a spanner wrench with the bike that is used to tighten the mirrors. Look on the front of the mirror next to the shaft and you will see the spanners holes that I am talking about.

The need for the spanner pin wrench would depend upon how the mirror was coming loose.  In my case then entire arm that holds up the mirror was coming loose from its vertical support and that required a new bolt.

If the mirror was rotating in its mount, then the spanner would be useful.  But if you didn't get one, then a pair of fine needle nose pliers will work just as well.  Don't forget the very small Allen wrench needed to loosen and tighten the locking set-screw hidden in one of the holes on the back of the mirror.

I pushed, pulled and rotated my mirrors a little when I got the bike a year ago to get them at the right angles, and they have stayed put. I haven't had to loosen or tighten anything.

In that case, you can use the Zero mirror pin wrench to tighten the rotating mount at the front of the mirror, after adjusting the mirror to the position that you want and then use the little Allen set screw, located inside one of the holes, to secure the adjustment.  If you don't have the mirror wrench, just use a fine-tip pair of needle nose pliers.

Mines are almost impossible to move as I used a standard pin wrench and some blue loctite on the thread of the compressing screw.

Was pretty easy to do, but I caused a small dent on the screw. I should have done it before but I was not sure of what to tighten.

I Loctite'd the stalk bolts and while I didn't get the pin spanner wrench discussed here, a pair of snap-ring pliers I had on hand works fine to tighten the ring on the back of the mirror. It stays put unless I catch the mirror on the door jamb I have to ride through to park the bike.
