Just found this site. I've been thinking about a commuter bike for a while and thought I'd love a BMW FS650 they don't burn anything but gas. Hope to learn more and possibly make the leap. Thanks in advance for your help.

Very glad to have you on board! How long is your commute? Zero has a dual sport coming in a few months. Not sure how it will stack up to the F650 but if the Zero S is any indication it should be good option on paper. We will see how it handles road and dirt duty. There are some great options out there, have a look around and please let us know what you are thinking. Obviously we like to talk about this stuff

Thanks for the welcome. My commute is 9 miles with some very steep Ozarkian hills. I'm currently doing it a couple of days a week on an Ezip electric bike but I'd like to make it a daily ritual.
