2013 Zero DS police model
« on: September 04, 2013, 02:58:35 AM »

Today I visited my Zero dealer, Mission Motorcycles in Daly City, CA, and finally got my caliper bolts replaced.  While I was hanging out in the showroom waiting for the work to be completed, I saw an all black 2013 11.4 kWh Zero DS on the floor, decked out as a police bike.  It had Givi hard bags and a large top box mounted to a rear rack.  The seat looked low, soft and wide (about the size of a policeman's butt who didn't spend too much time in the donut shop).  The bike had some sort of LED marker lights mounted to each side of the front fairing, facing outward.  Unfortunately, I didn't have my camera with me at the time.  I sure liked the luggage setup.  You could carry a lot of stuff in that luggage.  (The top box looked to be around a 46 liter size.)

Richard, check out my 2013 Zero S with Givi boxes for an idea of what it looks like in non-police model. I posted some pics "zero s flyscreen & givi". I get full face helmet, gloves, etc in top box then use saddle right for briefcase & saddle left for misc. - AGT
