I really don't think it's the belt; it seems like an electronic sound, not a mechanical one.

I guess I ought to by one of those belt tension checkers just to be sure -- anyone recommend the best belt checker for the Zero?

Wich firmware VERSION of the sevcon is the lastest now??

Mine dont seem to be up to date. I will get the IXXAT CAN BUS dongle tomorrow and i will check but i dont know wich is the lastest.

is there any special  lastest from ZERo and another diffrent lastest from the manufacture itself?

It does a Pretty interesting improovement!! ;) I agree with Electric Cowboy!
