Toyota apparently is flipping out a bit:

I can't imagine that there is much of a market for the Toyota i-Road. It has been done several times before, with both IC and electric motors, and you sure don't see very many enclosed two or three-wheel one or two passenger vehicles on the road. I doubt Toyota could sell more than a few hundred i-Roads and that would hardly make any economic sense for such a large auto company. I think their engineers and designers are just having fun. It kind of looks cute though, but I wouldn't want to ride one in heavy traffic.
