I think you may find this much harder to program than previous controllers you have worked with Doc.  Be interesting to see if you manage it.

yes i am aware of that... but i already have some experience with other brushless controller. The sevcon just have much more parameter to understand but i already have some great contact from Europe and here in Quebec to help.

At least the encoder calibration step is already understod for me ;)

Hope You have the version with SIN/COS option, this is an option you have to order extra!

My information is it is HW, I use eq. Poti2 supply for the SIN/COS... Different port use with this option.

You will see it in the Sevcon Manual on page  3-11 to 3-15 I am sure you have it or find it in the Net.

Thanks BSDThw. I canceled my WON AUCTION on EBAY. i got the answer from the US technical dep that this controller is NOT having the option COS SIN :(

i'll have to order one directly from Harlan i guess. What is great is that even if i get a 2013 next year or later, it will still be usable with these.

Get it from Harlan make you 100% sure it will work as it should. ;)

I can't wait to see your Mods. At the moment I don't tune I just ride, weather is sooo nice and this is rarely, so I will spent as much time as possible on the bike ;D

I totally agree with that choice of riding it instead of tuning it!.. that's my choice too for this summer. I have evaluated that if i would have kept my DS2011 and make the 84V mod and controller mod i would have spend all the remaining summer time to do that and make all the mod to fit..

so the S 2012 deal was the best choice for me  ;)

Btw i already have someone near Québec that want his new ZF11.4 modified by me for the sevcon size 6 =)..  that will be a great practice for me.. But i already know how to install everything except that i'll have to get the motor and controlelr  shipped to Harlan for the calibration  and trade.
