"conflict/restriction"
Restriction: no, there are no hard and fast rules about which subforum you post on here. It's a lot easier to keep things organized if you keep Zero-related posts to the Zero subforum, and Brammo-related posts on the Brammo subforum. To say that this post is not "technically-related to the Brammo bikes" is a real stretch to me.
Conflict: I don't think there's a conflict, unless you're an employee or agent of Zero motorcycles. If that were the case, you might want to think about what your motivation was to post something that was not true on this forum.
For instance, even though I am not an employee or agent of Brammo, I am obviously a fan, and I do have a certain amount of connection with the company that I divulge in the interest of transparency. If I were to post something on the Brammo Owners Forum with the title, "Zero Owned by California?" (which is not true, but passes the 'red-face' test because the state has invested in the company and I ended the post title with a question mark, thus showing my uncertainty in the declaration), my motivation would be questioned and rightly so.
I know that you are a valued member of this forum and that you have answered many questions from Zero owners and have a level of knowledge about batteries that is to be admired. Along with Skadamo, the head-honcho here, I help administer the forum. In that role, I feel the need to make sure that the posts (and their titles) meet a level of integrity that will keep the forum as a valuable source of information for all the members here and will continue its value as time goes by. That's my motivation. And yes, part of my motivation was to clarify the misconception about Brammo and Polaris. Polaris did its due diligence and invested in Brammo. We should all do our due diligence before investing our time in writing posts and their titles.
