There's no shortage of people telling Tesla what can't be done, even after they've done it.

Doesn't China already have one, or their equivalent?  Which is another reason for the tarriff's on their cars to make the US ones more competitive?

Here is the latest update regarding the usage of Tesla charging stations by other EV brands.

It's almost as if putting your company at Tesla's mercy for benefits that it's obvious are hard to realise to anyone who should be running one of these corporations is a bad idea.

When the NACS announcements came out everyone was like "yay charging is solved" and I was like "Nope, this doesn't solve the actual problems and only creates new ones".

Nothing is stopping Ford, or GM from putting CCS chargers out all over the place either, except their own ignorance.  Tesla had the foresight to do just that with their chargers, and is reaping the benefits of it.  Now the competition is crying, instead of trying to keep competitive.  But hey, when you are too big to fail and can rely on the government to just keep shoveling billions at you to keep the unions happy,  who needs innovation?

Pictures of newspapers? WTF

Charging is pretty well solved, or being solved. Very quickly.

For Tesla. But try going north of Reno needing CCS when on Hwy395.

Being solved, there's a brand-agnostic Supercharger going up there.  You can always pick and choose locations with no charging, but that's being solved.

Tucson to Phoenix is kind of a mess, but also being solved as we speak.

Just building new chargers is not a solution without a strong maintenance incentive. All those shiny new Electrify America chargers seemed like a great solution a few years ago until they started falling apart.

When I first heard about the new contract between Wal*Mart & EA, I assumed it meant chargers at every WM location.

But they did the same nonsense as everybody else. Put them everywhere except for where needed the most.

For example, Susanville, CA  has a Walmart. No CCS  there or anywhere near there.

They do have 250 KW V3 chargers near there at the casino.  But of course, no Magic Dock so most EVs cannot use them.

And NV has a big shortage of WORKING CCS outside of the larger cities.  Broken ones all over, that worked well five years ago that do not work at all today. I could ride to more places five years ago on my small battery SS9 than I can today on my larger battery Experia.

So of course, not even one Magic Dock in the entire state of Nevada.

BTW, OTOH, there is one nice needed location that I know of with Magic Dock. Jackson, CA.  I used it on my Enegica Experia last week. Charged up at 20 KW.

I said Supercharger, not EA.  That's the exact problem between Phoenix and Tucson; EA.

The Magic Dock isn't magic; it's simply an adapter.  You can get your own; I use one regularly.

I own two of them. Teslsa Supercharger to CCS. I purchased them when first available. But they will NOT work on ANY Tesla Supercharger in the USA unless the vehicle already has the FW from the Ford or Rivian dealer to make it work.

So far, without Magic Dock, the adapter ONLY works on V3 & V4 Superchargers with Ford and Rivian and no others (in the USA).

Where did you use yours at and on what type of vehicle?
