You mean the driving profile settings (eco, rain, urban, race), right?
Lefthand selector device, bottom backside switch.
Mode button to left to select the profile, push mode button to affirm.
When changed during driving, the change is only getting active after the throttle was shortly reduced to nil.

I know how to change modes, but somehow even if I have current LEDs set to ON, they don't luminate.

Any new developments?

No updates, mine is still bum (not working for unknown reason) in all riding modes except when battery pack is depleted to silly low level that would be the test to try.

Target <10% SOC and I betcha the indicators will work - I'm still exhausting selections on menu screen just to be complete and master reset has no effect.

just for shits and giggles,  try a factory reset is it?
also where it show you for the power display  pick watts/mile or the lowest decimal one that there is and see if that does anything.

I bet if you put it in rain mode it will light up for you like it is supposed to.

I find that I don't get a bunch of lights unless I really romp on it or am going pretty fast already like highway plus speeds.

After reviewing some posts by PARD and Spector I did some experimenting, and the LEDs do work. The lower the profile ECO, Rain etc the more they light up. Must be turned on in the settings menu also. I mostly have my profile set to sport, and when I grab a handful of throttle, I'm looking at the road not the display. Yesterday I watched display during some spirited riding and the bar graph does indeed work. Been screwing with this for a year. Thought something was wrong. Manual is not very clear on this subject.

when you are doing 3 digits you need to be watching the road, not concentrating on some small print on the dash or some blinkey lights, or the next blinkey lights you may see will be blue or the life flight.  not a good day.

If you do ever get a chance to peg it on the highway you can play with the throttle and see how the lights go up and down as you twist the throttle, you may want to turn your regen real low when doing this so you are not blopping the bike all over and your speed stays somewhat constant.
