I always carry a spare belt under the passenger seat on my SR/S. The belt is a used one that I got for free from my dealer. In the small compartment under the seat I can also store the right tools (Torx t-bars) to do a quick replacement on the side of the road, as my bike has a centre stand.

My belt broke yesterday on the freeway. Three year old SR/F, I guess it was due. I do not have a spare, but it would have been too dangerous to change it due to the high speed traffic anyway. Sure would be nice to have a spare belt though since the local repair shop had to order one from Zero, and that takes nearly two weeks.
