Hey folks,

I am pretty out of touch with the forum.  I was due to get my Zero S a long while back, then all the delays came and when I opted for the 2010 over the 2009 I tried to put the whole thing out of my mind (including this forum) so i wouldn't obsess too much (which did not work I obsessed anyway).  I haven't been keeping up with the forum so I hope I not about to ask a couple of lame questions.  Zero says they will deliver my 2010 Zero S to me early next week.  Monday the 12th of April seems likely.  I sold my DL 650 last June thinking I was about to get my 2009 Zero then - sigh.  I should have waited to sell.  Now almost a year later i am a bit reluctant to believe my bike is about to ship.  I was pretty bummed last time when it didn't happen.  Is anyone else getting there Zero S or DS soon?  I would like to compare notes when it arrives.  Anyone actually have a new Zero S or DS now?  What's it like?  As soon as my bike is delivered I will log in and give the group my first impressions.

  I had replied to your post on ElMoto. I ordered my Zero S on March 12, 2009 and like you decided to wait for the 2010 models after all of the issues with the 2009 version. I haven't heard anything from Zero about any delivery yet. I can fully understand your reluctance to actually belive they are going to ship them. Just way too many false alarms last year. I may give Zero a call and see what I can find out.

The Zeros are rolling off the assembly line as of 2 weeks ago. I would be surprised it Zero did not get more careful about what they promise.

The S now has an air cooled Agni motor and some other improvements. Corbin seat (very nice). Being without a bike must have really sucked but maybe some of the enhancements will make up for it some.

Hey folks,
Just to keep everyone posted about Zero production and delivery.  I spoke with Zero yesterday afternoon and they said the week of April 12th they will turn out about a dozen Zeros.  A few will be the S but mostly dirt bikes.  Production is slightly behind schedule (about a week and a half behind).  I may get my Zero S April 16th or sometime the following week.

Hey folks,
I spoke with Lisa at Zero today 4-14-10 and I will pick up my Zero S at the end of the day this Friday!   I will leave work early, rent a van and head down.  They are including a helmet cam free with the bike.  Wow!  Is this normal?  If I can figure out how to down load digital video and upload it to this site then I will post some stuff.  I hope this means that other folks out there waiting for Zeros will get them very soon.

You should be able to upload the video to youTube pretty easily and then copy the URL into a post here on the fourm. It will show up. Looking forward to it!
