What if Honda, Instead of building electric...

...started marketing bikes like this in the United States?

$1050 USD
230 lbs
0-36-mph dash achieved in a creditable 7.13 seconds
60 mph top speed

Twister managed to run 57.2 kilometres on one liter of fuel (135 mpg!) in city conditions, despite its admirable performance. It bettered this figure to 61.3/kpl (141 mpg!) on its highway run.

One of the advantages electric mfr's have is the "Big Four" and others neglect the small displacement market in the States. the Honda Rebel is on it's 20th year? The Ninja 250 finally looks halfway decent but still kinda ugly.

What if they start pushing bikes like the CB Twister and crazy low prices? People who are crazy for electric still would not care but people looking for good gas mileage and low cost would.

Scary to think about but it is a possible route for entrenched powersports corps to take a bite out of the eMfr's. What do you think?
