I also saw you can unlock more power. They indicate 1.6s for 0-100km/h when unlocked? OMG, that's just insane...

1.6s for 0-100km/h?

I checked on Zero website, couldn't find anything. Where did you see that? Given that the Tesla Plaid barely manages below 2s, I would think that's a typo. My already unlocked SR/F would need at least 3.2s.

I saw it in a Cypher store Performance Boost option info overlay, but now that I checked back it does not even mention 0-100 speed at all. Now I question my sanity...  :o

Well, 1.6s sounded too good to be true anyway. Or probably, it is better it is not true. I really doubt I would live long if I had this kind of power at my disposal, I can only imagine I would spin out of control due to accelerating on a wet tram line track or something and launch myself off the pavement and into the third story of a building at 100km/h on the very first day.

That figure was widely bandied around by, I think?, Cycle World when the SR/F first came out, to the sound of a thousand facepalms.

What I read was, they did achieve 1.6s .
However, it was on a dyno, and the bike didn't have to compensate for front end lift, and traction was probably the best it could be, better than on pavement.
Also maybe it doesn't account for the weight of a rider? I'm not a dyno-scientist, don't know.

That is quite important. The only times when I wish my SR/F would accelerate faster, is when I need to overtake fully loaded, that is with a passenger and luggage.

Doing a 0-60 run on a dyno wouldn't even account for the weight of the bike, nor air resistance. It's absolutely meaningless.

I must have been a typo somewhere that just got repeated over and over.
