I wonder if it might be a "charging protocol" or firmware issue which is giving the Experia grief using different chargers..?? Not all chargers are the same I suspect...??

I guess I'll find out myself soon enough....My new Experia should be less than a month away....I hope.

It still says on the web that they will be delivered in the fall!

The fall of 2022, that is.

I cannot say I care much for now. The weather has been really bad everyday here lately. Roads full of ice and snow.

I don't envy you with the weather Sir.......weather here is beautiful one day, perfect the next..!! All year round riding is possible where I am....no need to "hibernate". Sometimes gets silly hot in the summer though.

Cheers,

Yes: Hannover, Germany.
My Experia arrived with the dealer on Friday Jan 13th. Was there on Saturday to take a quick glance at it :D :D.
My dealer has got two Experias, another three are following somewhen in February. And I know of another German owner who has been given Jan 25st For pickup.
It seems like there was a handful of bikes for the US exclusively first (Rick and Samantha, for example) but now the roll-out begins. My dealer actually drove down to Modena with his van and picked up the Experias along with a SS9 - himself. If Energica would have delivered them he thinks you have to add circa three weeks for Energicas logistic milk run system.

What I have noticed compared to the May press release bikes which have been touring Europe from dealer to dealer for customer test rides:
- frame weld quality increased a lot, but not yet on par with Ribelle/SS9
- plastic parts have been given a surface texture: charge port, a cover around the upper tripple tree, under the lid: the top battery cover
- improved fit & finish of the fairing (front right was prominent as the early bikes showed a 10mm gap)
- SW now with more functions unlocked
- nuts to fix the GPS bracket onto are now molded in the plastic - they were missing before
- thicker paint, the sound of fingernails tapping on the painted parts is more… well… quality-like

The things sadly not improved:
- stickers not covered in paint (probably not feasible with matte paint?)
- ECU connector on right hand side still looks a bit patched together - I‘d love to see that better isolated
- orange high voltage cables on left side behind frame… for me it looks a bit like on a construction machine but not on a 30kEUR bike

All accessories like main stand, GPS bracket, hand guards are not yet available from Energica and on back order. Warranty is also 5yrs included for free as listed on the English website of Energica. Surprisingly, this is ONLY listed on the English site - no word of that in Italian, French or German. But included anyway if ordered before Dec 31st.
