What are the heat sink / cooling fins on the SR tail?

As the subject says. There's some heat sink fins under the tail of the SR model.

That would be the motor controller. Take care of it. Those things are expensive.

As the subject says. There's some heat sink fins under the tail of the SR model.
You can access the top of that Motor controller under the seat. It has five large bolts on top. Clearly marked M1, M2, M3 & Bat- & Bat+.

The three Ms are the cables to the motor. The other two are activated with the battery when the contactor is closed. I wire my external Elcon chargers to those two battery bolts.
