My Rosso III's were toast last week at 7200 km. Mostly riding in the weekend with my girlfriend and also a bit of commuting (when it is not below 10C
)
I ride with a custom setting with everything maxed out at 100% (speed, power torque, regen and brake regen). Very nice almost not having to brake before cornering. It does however wear the rear tire faster as it has to grip with acceleration, cornering
and regen.
I think eco mode on the SR/F also has quite strong regen so maybe that has contributed to your quick wear.
The Netherlands are as flat as a pancake, unlike Switzerland so going up and down mountains will surely wear tires faster.
I replaced the Rosso rear tire with a Michelin Road 5 which is also suitable for the SR/F according to the manual. The road 5 is supposed to be grippy enough on the sides and has harder rubber in the middle for more kilometers.
I have only 400 kilometers on the road 5 so it is a very early comment but the tire feels really good compared to the worn Rosso, but that is not really a surprise. The Rosso was quite square off in the center from lack of curvy mountain roads
A new tire always rides better than a worn one.
