Let me add.
The admin / moderator etc.

Has anyone looked up who owns the domain?  Maybe contact them?
SOMEONE is paying the bill to host this.

If not, I may be able to try.  I want to see if there is any info first before starting from scratch.
thanks

It will be interesting to see how this bike goes after a few years, especially with all that Chineseium in it!
Aaron
Where did the concept of these bikes being built with Chineseium come from?  I was at the factory the other day and I was watching CNC machines build out all the parts.  Currently, they had a big stack of swingarms they were finishing up, then new end caps for the motors.  I didn't see anything from China.

oh shit did you fail to look at all of the instrument clusters and buttons/switches?
The instrument panel comes from Italy as do some buttons/switches.
Some of the buttons and switches are carved on their CNC machines.  I sat and watched them run
a set of about 25.

Oh! Then they've made some changes. This is what they used to look like. Do they not look like this anymore?

 picture here...
That does look like part of it, I can't be sure.  As I recall, there are more switches and buttons for Reverse, Bike Setup, and Cruise Control.  But I don't remember ever seeing any LED on the control assembly. The lights were never off and no one mentioned it to me.
I know many Tesla vehicles are built in China and they don't have issues.  Most of those cars go to Western Europe, Canada, and other Asian countries.  There are lots of products that are well-made in China.  Think iPhone.  And lots of low quality. It depends on the manufacturer.
Many American cars have a history of poor quality as they are considered disposable products. This may be due to all the salt on the roads on the East Coast, but mid-west and West Coast cars last for years.  West Coast owners demand quality cars as they last a much longer time.
You cannot attach the quality of a product to the country of origin.  Italy makes some great cars and motorcycles. They also make some really poor cars such as Fiat and racing go-karts. The frames are the cheapest steel they can buy.  England had Triumph which was low quality and cheap, and now sells Austin Martin which is top stuff.  Germany has Porsche and BMW, but is also home to Volkswagen, the cheapest and poorest made of the bunch.

I consider "Chinesium", to be a slang, derogatory word used against people/products from China. It's a form of prejudice based on "xenophobia" or "discrimination based on nationality".  As an American, I feel that the use of the word is in very poor taste and should not be used to describe products made by people of another country.  Shame..

Yeah I never use that term. It wasn't me. I am well aware you get what you pay for, and tons of high quality products originate there. Things of questionable quality are things I would likely describe as "from Alibaba or Aliexpress".

The LED in question was the high beam indicator. I sent Richard this picture because I was concerned the high beam light was blanking out the left mirror at night. This was the only time I tried riding the Strike at night.

I definitely agree with Aliexpress products being of questionable quality.  I have bought some sunglasses that worked out great.  Usually, if I have to use Aliexpress. I only purchase disposable products.
If this is the high beam light or something, it appears to light up too much of the cockpit.  Thanks for the note and picture, I will check it out when I pick up my bike.

Although some products may not be for me.  I really do enjoy the design and like them being used on other people's bikes.
