Hi,

I just got a french email from Zero which is clearly intended for dealers, with very specific info about a bug justifying the last SDS and F firmware updates for mbb and bms (versions 37 and 30).

I'm not sure this info is supposed to be released to end users.

Did anyone else receive this mail ? can I dispatch the info, or am I at risk of legal trouble ?

Since it was their mistake, you're not generally in any legal risk of releasing it.

I would imagine that any emails that aren't supposed to be public knowledge would contain a notice stating that it's for internal use only.

Those notices aren't legally binding anywhere I know of, tho.

true, but the communication states that it is a new bug that is fixed in the last updates (v37/v30)

so yeah you're right that it is bad practice anyway, but this seems to indicate that it is worst than intended :

Yes, they're already stated that it can't begin hibernation below 30% and to start hibernation above 60% SoC (best practice).

So this is more a reiteration of what they've said before.  Cool.

I'd think some of the people that have never read the manual are not regularly updating their firmwares too. I kinda put those in the same YOLO category.

That is good to know, thanks. I'll see whether I can annotate this on the unofficial manual reasonably. Just in case anyone wonders, I don't get such notices.
