Is there a speed sensor on the Energica's that passes the data on to the ECU, as we know it on an ice bike ?  if so, where is it located.

Most EVs estimate the speed from the motor rotation.

I am trying to find out if there is an external speed sensor like with an ICE bike. If this is the case, it may be possible to deceive the VCU with a Speedohealer, just like with my CanAm, so that the limiter is removed. My CanAm was limited at 105kmu or 65 mph , with the Speedohealer set at -50% ( is easy to read the tacho then , just multiply by 2 )  the limiter is gone because there is no way that this CanAm would reach 130 mph. So I was wondering if this could be done with a Energica as well.
