Tires for 2017 zero ds
« on: February 15, 2022, 06:47:29 AM »

I've been waiting for tires for my 2017 zero ds since October. Over the years I've had battery problems, a fried motor, I'm giving this bike one more chance if I ever get a tire for it. It left me stranded many times and I almost gave up on it. The last time it stranded me, I Plugged it in the next day and everything is normal. took it to the dealership and everything checks out, but needed new tires, uggs if I ever get another motorcycle it's going to be from the 70's. Anyone else having tire issues or know of a place that might have that tire. The part # for the tire is 2526900. It is a Pirelli Scorpion Trail II front tire 130/80-17. thanks for reading my rant, if you have a zero mc and live in AZ
I recommend towing insurance, and above 110 degrees, I stay off highways and only charge it a couple hours at a time, shit overheats
or maybe i just bought a lemon

Are you sure your front tire is a 17”? I’m pretty sure the DS front is an 19”.

You are right, the front wheel is 19, but the rear wheel is 17.

I've found it best over the years to have tires in stock at my house. Been spooning them on for years! Good to have a warm sunny day to warm them up on the driveway before installing.  I have 2 rears and a front for my GS and the same for the X-Max. Have a rear for the FXE and will probably look for a front soon.
