Title: Peg Lowering Kit for SS9
Post by: Rugby4life on October 01, 2019, 04:31:04 AM
I bought an SS9 and attempted an Iron Butt off the showroom floor. Unfortunately, a bad charge station at a critical point scuppered the attempt. On the short 300 miles I rode that day, a couple of things became apparent. First, I would like to move the pegs down and forward about 1.5 inches. Also the pegs themselves are short (outer 1/3 of foot hanging off) and too small in diameter (I like a flat pad). So, before I make my next attempt, does anyone know of a lowering kit that will fit the SS9?

I don’t know kits for lowering the pegs, however, I would like to share with you that my brake pedal already misses the tip and the left step also touched tarmac, so for me the pegs are as low as they could be.  Of course everyone’s driving style is different....

Have fun on your new SS9!

I'm too old to play boy racer anymore. If I'm dragging a knee in the corner that means I've already fallen off the bike.  ;)
